I mean besides the story
divini is correct, and Rhapsodic_Chord is also correct even though at the end of the game all party members reunite despite which path you chose. Also, you cannot get all Talk Topics with Misha if you choose Aurica's Path and vice-versa. You also cannot get all Talk Topics with neither of them if you choose to stay with Shurelia near the end.

Choosing a certain path will determine which Reyvatail will become close to Lyner, which affects what kind of scenes and endings you can get.
