statusCheck out MasterVG's FAQ. It has all the gem drop info I compiled a few months back.
More of these gems drop at 2nd block and 4th or 5th block. another thing to remember is look for the hand shadows (not golden ones). they drop a lot. Statistics: without the shrine prayer, 1 (common); 2(rarely)
: with shrine prayer - at least one by 90%, 2(rather ocasionally), 3(very
rare)
Although i've just started this game, I've come across quite abit of Onyx while in the 2nd block just have your team split up on the first floor of the 2nd block and kill all shadows so they can all give you items when you goto next level.
There's a lot of Onyx dropped in the 4th block, Tziah, so far. In particular the Idols seems to drop them fairly often.
