Peter Jackson's King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie

"Excels To The Top"
Introduction:
In my lifetime, I really wasn't that interested in King Kong. But when I played the game I fell in love with it. After that, I saw the movie and thought that it was also very good. I'm here right now to tell you all about this game, every aspect, every true thing about it.
Game Play:
King Kong has a type of game play that you don't quite see very often. Running around with spears fighting dinosaurs and getting weapons from comrades isn't in your ordinary video game. Peter Jackson did pretty well when it came to making a Kong game that just wasn't walking around with an assault rifle and 40 magazines of ammo and blasting the Hell out of everything. No, because that wouldn't be very Kong-like. You're stranded on an island trying to find an actress that was taken by the mighty Kong, so some things have to be different.
There were many things that were noticeable about King Kong. First, it wasn't anything like the movie (probably because Pete didn't want to spoil it for everyone) which can in some parts drag the story down. Another cool thing is that the only guns and ammo that you can find are either from the partners or from crates hanging from trees that were dropped by a seaplane. These are very useful.
The game switches between you playing in first-person as Jack and playing in third-person as Kong. It's very good that you don't have to play as a writer for the whole time listening to him yell ANN! every five seconds. Come on, let's here some ROARS!
Also something else that is cool. There isn't any health bar, ammo counter, crosshairs, NOTHING. Just you and Skull Island. And when you are injured, the screen turns all red and blurry and slow-motiony and sad music starts to play.
For game play: 9/10
SFX (Sound/Music):
This is another part where the game can really excel. As you walk slowly through the jungle, you can hear small predators scurrying through the dense forest. Grass swings around your legs, and your breathing gets deeper and deeper. Suddenly, you look up and see this huge V-Rex standing right there. He sees you, and let's out a BIG roar that shakes the screen and makes you wobble. You quickly run back through the forest, and behind you, you can hear the cries of the teammates, crushed into the jaws of the hungry dinosaur. You keep running, when suddenly you are attacked by a Megapede. It strangles you. You let out a cry. You can hear your heart beating faster and faster. Dramatic music plays, and then
you are done.
That's kind of a fun way to describe how good the sound is.
For sound: 10/10
Visuals: The grass could not possibly get any greener here! The environments are beautiful, and the characters look nice. Everything just looks real nice.
For Visuals: 10/10
Replay Ability:
You definitely will be playing this game numerous times. There are lots of cool bonuses to unlock also. I have beaten the game and I am still playing it. Have fun with it!
For Replay Ability: 10/10
Final Words:
I think that this game proves what the Playstation can really accomplish. I say that you should buy it no matter what.
