Who'd ever have thunk it? A Godfather Game? Well this is it one of the greatest movies of all time all smashed in to one tiny little game. This game is okay it isnt the greatest but very good compared to other movie games. Okay here it goes...
Graphics: The graphics in this game are a little how do you say... bad. Well they arent horrendous but they are not the best. For example when you inside a building or perhaps on a mission killing rival familes sometimes you will graphical bugs!! You will pass through locked doors, enemies can shoot through walls, the camera will be placed in a room but you can see only OUTSIDE!! That really pissed me off because I got killed half the freaking time!
Gameplay: The gameplay in this game is very good. It has a lot of neat things that you can do with it like you can interrogate people who own warehouses and find out where they are. You can also bribe cops so they won't always arrest you and you can bribe the FBI to end a MOB WAR!
Controls: This game plays a lot like a Grand Theft Auto game so of course it has the bad controls. For example the targeting system is not very responsive, the driving is sub-par (unlike GTA!), but sometimes the controls are nice and responsive like it rotates around good and bad.
Story: The story is the same as the movie. So that is cool. Plus you can play scenes from the movies like when you can sneak into this movie producer's bedroom and put a horse's head on his bed! SWEET!!!
Overall: Overall this game is okay and it doesnt completely kill the tightness of the Godfather movies. Although it would of been nice if you could change the storyline a little because it is so linear!! But it is still nice to play ur fav scenes from the movie like the one I describe earlier. I did have a lot of fun playing this game because I felt like a member of the Corleone family! But watever it is a good game that u should rent but u should think before buying it! 7 out of 10
