Introduction

Now I was never a fan of BMX games until this came out. Keep in mind by now it's about five years old considering it's now 2006 but I can't even help myself from going back to this game. I've played many BMX games from that time and still hold this one as one of my personal favorites, it just captured exactly what I was looking for and forever held it's place in my heart.

Game Play

Your selection of bikers is pretty big. And not to mention Dave Mirra. Heh, what would a Dave Mirra game be without him ya know?! There is a pretty cool S.I.K. trick system which allows you to modify your tricks pulling off some outstanding stunts. This also allows you to connect your moves making for a bigger score. The flow of the game is pretty nice to, the bike movements and tricks all look realistic and great! Also you can create the bike park of your dreams with a fully customizable and fully loaded park editor. Not to mention the challenge in this game is really tough. Sometimes it gets rediculous and frustrating but I like games with a bit of a challenge. It takes great practice and patience but this game is a gem not to be missed by BMX fans and also people who are just looking for a good anf fun game.

Graphics

The graphics are really nice. Everything is fully detailed and the environments are pretty big themselves. Plenty of room to stretch out and explore the perfect spots to pull off some insane stunts.

Controls

The controls are very easy to get used to and in no time at all you to will be riding like a pro.

Music

The music soundtrack is fantastic. With music from Ozzy, Rage Against The Machines and Sum 41 you cannot go wrong.

Replay Value/Play Time/Buy or Rent

The replay value is really good considering there are a lot of neat things to unlock. The play time is also pretty good considering the challenges are insanly tough. And if you are into BMX game please pick it up and don't forget this classic because it's well worth it.
