The Warriors

"Warriors Come Out and Plaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!"
Intro
The Warriors is an awesome co-op game based on a 1970's movie and the setting takes place in NY. The Riffs is the biggest gang in NY and they have arranged a meeting between all the gangs so they can form one big army to become stronger than the NYPD. Your gang is called the Warriors. The Warriors are a small gang that has just recently been formed in Coney Island. This game tells what happened before the meeting in the beginning of the movie and shows how the gang formed and how they got invited to this meeting. The meeting gets interrupted when Cyrus the leader of the Riffs gets shot by the leader of the Rogues Luther. Luther than blames it on the Warriors and every gang in NY is after you! Now you must find your way back to Coney before every gang kills you.
Gameplay
A ten without a doubt. This game's fighting is far superior to most fighting games. Bodies go flying through windows and there are plenty of weapons to use. There are plenty of gangs to beat down on and civilians can be mugged. Car radios can be stolen and so can jewelry and drug stores. There are mini games for un cuffing your allies and picking locks and such. Best of all about this game is it allows co-op gameplay. Not many games allow co-op which makes this game great. There is rumble mode that has a lot of games and you can travel back to any level you did in the past.
Graphics
This game falls short on graphics but I gave it a ten anyway since the gameplay is so good and graphics don't really matter. This games graphics aren't terrible but if you compare it to MGS and FFX than this game falls short here. Blood looks good and the bodies look pretty good too. Cars look great but most of the buildings and such look pretty bad. Still this game's graphics aren't bad to the point were its annoying.
Sound
Sounds good too the songs in this game are great and the voices are too. Every character has a voice actor and the things they say are not very repetitive like GTA or some other games. Weapon connections and glass sounds realistic too.
Value
The length of this game is surprisingly good. Most games about movies are terrible in length. This game lasts over 20 hours. Compared to an RPG game its not very long but compared to most games its long. The story is great because it goes way before were the movie starts and covers all the movie shows. There are lots of gangs in this game making it not get to repetitive. Gangs even have their own way of fighting like weapon choices and move sets. There are a lot of levels and there is free play in Coney which isn't to big but it has bonus missions there. After you beat the game there is an arcade available that is a 2D fighting game. This game is very fun too kinda like Streets of Rage for genesis. Its a good addition to the game. All the boards in this game are great. I can't say there is a board that just annoys me and I won't play it again. Replay on the boards is really fun.
Rating
I rate it a perfect score mostly because of gameplay and I feel that gameplay is the most important part of any game this is a great game to buy because by now it is probably 19.99 and it also very fun to play over and over. Renting would be bad because you can beat it but you'd have to play non stop to do that and also this game is still fun after beating.
