Introduction
Ghost Hunter is a Horror game from SCEE Cambridge.

Gameplay (8/10)
This game has a rather good level of gameplay. Its view is much like the view that is in Resident Evil 4. This game at first will scare you. Later on though, you may find yourself saying “Oh look, it's just another enemy”. However, as soon as you think that this game will bring out a new ghost for you to fight that is bigger and meaner the guy before. Another feature to this game is the points of the game were you play as a ghost. This provides you with a lot of different gameplay features that can both be sloppy and enjoyable at the same time. Also, instead of just killing (or rather re-killing) the ghost, you must capture it with your capture grenade. This too is a good feature.

Story (8/10)
The game begins with rookie cop Lazarus Jones and partner Anna Steele are sent to an abandoned school to investigate some strange noises reported by the construction workers working there. As you explore the school more you head to the basement and the fun begins. It's a semi-gripping story but at times is rather enjoyable. Along the way, Lazarus will make the occasional joke.

Graphics/Sound (9/10)
The graphics in this game are remarkably good. The detail put into the small things in amazing. The guns are detailed, ghosts and faces are great too. The sound department I think in this game is let down by its music though. It is basically just one song with the occasional change that fits in with the scene. The bullets sound good and the ghost can be heard as if to warn you. All in all the sound and graphics are ok but could be improved with a little variety in the score. It has some good ambiance to it too.

Play Time/Replayability (7/10)
This game doesn't have much in terms of length. It is just the single player story mode and it has no multiplayer. This basically leaves it down to the bear essential so to speak. Trust me though, the boss fights in this game are unique. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw most of them. I was just in shock. That is a good reason to play through again. I have to admit though, this game took me 4 days shy of 3 YEARS to finish this game. It was a combination between hard boss fights, tricky parts of the game and me buying more games that took it that long.

Final Recommendation
Worth a look for its fantastic boss battles and amazing features. Although with only the story mode, you may be left with a dust collector.
