Jaws Unleashed
Review by SmokinHot
""Aaarrgh!! ShaarrrkkkkK*gurgle* Help!!! *ggurgle* Aaaaaaaah!! *CHOP*""
Majesco made a really nice game, a real nice game. Jaws Unleashed lets you control Jaws, the psycho shark who wants to eat everything.
Graphics: 7/10
Not too shabby. The underwater world is nice and the surface is ok. Jaws looks like jaws and the humans...well they look like humans. And the brutalities stand out here...when you decapitate those puny humans, blood everywhere . But this game suffers from a terrible camera
No need to say more.
Sound:9/10
Well this is what I like. The music builds up the thrill...if you think of what the humans are experiencing once Jaws circle them while they struggle to swim to the surface. You could hear screams, and when you drag them underwater you hear the *gurgle* sounds when they scream for help. And music from the movie is thrown in too.
Game-play: 9/10
Ecco+GTA+Jaws: Genius
The game-play here is quite interesting, but it does suffer the GTA free roaming sickness. You have a bite attack that bites a victim, and holding it in your mouth, in this situation, you could A.Shake your head like crazy with the victim in your mouth,B. Spit the victim out of your mouth or C.EAT the victim .You also have a chargeable tail attack, a stealth attack, and a chargeable head-butt in your arsenal. This game also shows RPG elements...where you could upgrade things like Power, Speed, Accuracy,Etc. The swimming here is Ecco-like where you could swim up and down and all-that. This game also shows us the dismemberment system where you could decapitate your victim and rip off body parts like arms, legs or rip the victim in half. In this game you prey on the weak, and I dont imply that on the humans only.
Replay: 7/10
After 30 missions with three difficulties, The only thing you could do on free roam is eat any moving thing you see, which is like GTA,where you make the world go boom. There are side challenges tho.
Rent/Buy:
Jaws fans and other people who like decapitating and eating those puny humans, buy this. And to the others, well, if you don't like games with ebil camera angles, rent it first.
Overall: 8/10
Majesco did a fine job on this game. But they could still do something about the camera angles.
