Introduction
This is a game that is a tie-in for 2006's summer block-buster "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead man's chest". In an attempt to make more money off the movie they created this game. The game came out half way descent but left people bored or unsatisfied. For new or enthusiastic players, the game was a magical realm to the pirate world of Captain Jack Sparrow. The game came out on June 28, 2006 in the U.S.

Story 8/10
Follow the adventures of Captain Jack Sparrow! Hunt for gold and kill some pirates! This is what you'd think you'd be playing, but here's a little added extra. Kill enemies! Uh, do it again! Then go get some gold or something. The Story in general is good; they didn't go too far off the movie like some games do. Mostly the story is just strictly off the movie. If you watched the movie then you could probably guess everything that was going to happen next. Following Captain Jack and his story is fun when you're a huge fan of the movie for others it leaves them saying "Ok........that's it?” The Story is of action, and a little of adventure. Story is what saved the game from being a total disaster, since it's based on the movie Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's chest which had excellent story and made over 400,000,000$ according to yahoo.com

Game play 5/10
The game features somewhat boring sword play and repetitive combos. Levels take about 20-40 minutes and the learning curve is 45 minutes. The game also allows you to collect gold which drops when killing an enemy, or breaking something. The good part about the game play is that when you have a mission objective to do it's mildly challenging. It's not easy, it's not hard, and it's both. Bosses in the game are ten percent more challenging then mission objectives. Sometimes in the game you find you're self up against a large amount of enemies which would be fun if the only thing you could do at the time is a few simple moves over and over again. Controls are simple, very simple, that's why the learning curve is short because learning the controls is about 15 minutes and the rest comes from ships ECT. As said before the sword play is kind of boring because of the repetition and combos. Game play in this game is overall OK. You can still find some enjoyment in the game play if your really enthusiastic about the game or just a new gamer.

Graphics 4/10
Graphics in this game are not the best but alright. The company did not put too much money into making this game's graphics amazing. I'd think must people would agree with me when I say 5 out of ten for graphics. Some times the faces look blurred in and look to un-life like. For the most part the graphics make the game look like a bad movie tie in to get more money. The game does have its moments though where the game's graphics kick in.

Sound 5/10
Sound is nothing special in this game. I'd say that it's better than the graphics by only ten percent. The detail it goes with (i.e., weapons slashing ECT.) lacks realism. The voices are good but the voice acting is mediocre but not horrible. Music theme and music background is pretty decent comparing to some other games.

Playtime & Re-playability 2/10
This is the part that brings the whole game down. The game takes about 5-6 hours to beat but after you beat it you really don't want to play it again. After a lot of repetition and story it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. The game is short but it still leaves a bad mark on you to not play it till you have interest in the game again. Again, if you really love this game then it's different of course. I don't think too many people would want to play this over for a long time.

Final Recommendation
This is supposed to be the part where I say if you should get the game or not. The real issue is that it's not my decision, it's yours. So instead of telling you what I think you should get, I'm writing a pro and con extra part included here.
