Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy
Review by ramzabeolve
"A fans dream"
This game proves that sequels can be better than an original. Star Wars Lego II: TOT for PS2 is a good game for a number of reasons
Graphics: five out of ten. The Graphics are like the first game, Lego people running around and such. The cut scenes are what give this game a real pizaz for the fan of Star Wars or anyone who likes this kind of game. They are inter spaced in the game in such a way that makes for laughs just when you need them.
Sound: nine out of ten, Excellent. All of the music and SFX from the movie are in the game, actually making it more fun than other regular Star Wars games. You can hear the rise and fall of the music as the action increases. You can hear the blasters and lightsabers blowing things up. One downside is the lack of voice work, but the characters hum (kind of like The Sims). R2 is voiced correctly
Play Control: eight out of ten. A bit jerky at times, as the camera is not controllable. You can get stuck at times. It is never permanent, but can be annoying. Sometimes you can quick jump up a wall when you should not be able to.
Replay Value: ten out of ten. Fun to play with friends or alone, this game has incredible replay value. You can go through the various stories and replay modes, getting every item (and this does take time) or you can just battle a friend over and over. (What can be more fun than using force lightning on someone?) You can also play a variety of characters. There is a Super Story mode, where you have to hurry through the story, a mode where you try to get 1 million Legos in 5 minutes or less, and even a bounty hunter mode.
Story: eight out of ten. Come one, It is the Star Wars story. you can't go wrong with that. The way the scenes are comically rendered make this game a must have for the fan.
Overall: A Great game and an excellent Star Wars Game. A must for enthusiasts
