NBA Street V3

"NBA Street v3 = Great Game"
Alright everybody, just so you know I'm not really much of a basketball game player, let alone a sports game player and this one game has caught my attention. Here is why in my review below, enjoy.
Story: Okay, first we will start with the Storyline, Basically you are a regular person from off the streets and you are given a chance to make something of yourself. You start out by creating your baller and afterwards will be brought to a screen where you will pick two or three extra team mates, I forgot how many and you all form a team. Once your team is complete, you guys are set to play against the best of players on the streets. That is pretty much it for the story but hey, it's a basketball game what more could you ask for out of a story line as long as you get to ball am I right? Good, glad you agree. I give the story a 7/10.
Graphics: The graphics in this game are pretty good, every character is detailed. Example, when you start out building your court to play ball on, you start out with a crappy cracked floor panel and work your way up winning games and earning points to make a better court for yourself and your team mates to play on. You get to pick logos for your court, coloring of the lines, style of the lines, where it takes place and so on it is great. I say I would have to give the graphics an 8/10.
Sound: Alright, now for sound the announcing in this game isn't too great at least I don't think so.. However everyone has their own different style who knows maybe you will like it. The announcer can be pretty funny at times sometimes just plain old and boring. The music in this game is good I like it even though I don't listen to rap. That is pretty much it for sound nothing more left to say here I don't think so for that I give the sound a 6/10.
Controls: The control layout is pretty simple you use the analog to move your baller, R1 for turbo, at least that's what I like to use but any of the shoulder button will work, whatever is comfortable for you. Now in this game there's a new feature called the trick stick, basically what you do is push it in whichever direction and your baller will do a trick. You can even use the turbo button's to heat up the tricks. I think I've covered that for controls so I would have to give them a 9/10, very simple.
Gameplay: Alright now, gameplay this is where it gets interesting man there are TONS of modes to play through. You can do street challenge that is where you have 10 weeks to make yourself popular among the other ballers. Some games you can only score using dunks, some only using shots. Some games you play to 21 some to 30. It all varies on what the rules are for the games listed on your schedule list. I don't see how anyone can not enjoy this game it's great, really it is. I give the gameplay a 8/10.
Replayability: The replayability on this game is great, I think you will want to come back and play even though you might have finished some of it. Once you beat the street challenge, you unlock characters and even more modes to choose to play in. Plus there are tons of rewards you can unlock as well so be prepared to play this game for hours on end. I give the replay value a 8/10.
Rent/Buy: Alright now the big question, rent or buy. Well I would definitely say buy if you are a NBA fan. However if you are a bit skeptical maybe try renting it first see if it fits your style. BUY!
