FIFA Street 2
Review by MetaBrain
"Not a bad game, but lacks replayability"
Before I start, let me tell you that this game is really fun IF you have friends to play with, otherwise forget it since the AI is CHEAP in higher dificulty levels (always block your tricks).
Pros-> 'Rule the Street' mode can be really addicting (untill you finish it, that is...), AWSOME sound track
Cons - Little replay value, no online multiplayer, goalie AI is... Instable.
Intro
Fifa Street 2 is the sequel to Fifa Street (1), with some improvements and a revamped revamped soundtrack. It's a game about street soccer (think Brasil!), you controll your player with the left analog stick and, using the right analog stick , you do all kind of fancy tricks with right analog stick direction and sholder buttons.
8/10 Graphics
They AREN'T bad, but I've seen better. Graphics aren't really important in this game, but they do shine at times. The players are really well designed (popular players like C.Ronaldo and Ronaldinho look great) and the stages are beautifull and they get the job done pretty well.
9/10 Gameplay
The gameplay is awsome, at least, untill you get the hang of the game and/or the CPU starts getting blocking everything. When you and the CPU block perfectly, you are retty much stuck (but you can't block perfectly unlesss you played this game for weeks). Overall it's really fun doing the tricks as you "own" the players and if you are getting into the game, excited and all, the experience is one of the best I've had some time!
When you start playing with friends, that's when it gets AWSOME. No player is perfect, and if you and your friend are really getting into the game, you'll have lots of fun dribling till the end of time and making fun of each other for missing that dribble or suffering that panama (when you put the ball between the opponent's legs) !
10/10 Sound
The soundtrack is awsome. Alternative rock, Brasilian rap/whatever that's called, punk and rap. But ultimately, it's down to your own personal tastes. tho this game has a lot of variety.
4/10 Replay Value
'Rule the Streets' mode is fun, UNTILL you beat it. Then, the game gets boring if you don't have friends to play against.
Overall
A fun game for a while if you don't have friends that also enjoy it. The game sure has a lot of stupid momments, like the goalie passing but the ball hit YOUR player and the ball jumps back to the goal and own-goal, goalie doesn't defend EASY shots, yet manages to fail that half-line shot from SHOLDERS.
Thanks for reading :)
