Eragon

"Fun game that needs a little work."

Story: 7/10
The story of the game Eragon is based of the two books Eragon and Eldest. Its about a farm boy who while hunting finds a dragon egg. He soon discovers that he can communicate telepathically with the dragon who he names Saphira for her saphire eyes. While in town he finds a hermit telling stories of dragon riders. After a raid on the village he joins the hermit who turns out to ba dragonrider who lost his dragon. There is also some evil villians trying to kill our dragon rider. Not the greatest story I will admit.

Gameplay: 7/10
This is a part of the game that is fun but at the same time quite annoying and repatitive. There are four different ways to attack. You can use magic and burn your enemys or puch them off a cliff. You can use your bow and kill them also having the abilaty to fire magic arrows Or you can just attack them. You see the gameplay is fun just attack normal soldiers but it really annoys when you fight a enemy that knocks you down whenever he hits you and dosent get his attacks inturrepted even if you hit him seven times with powerful hits. However what makes it fun is the grappling system. You can grab someone if the are stunned and do some mean stuff to them including throwing into there buddies and knocking them all down so you can kill without trouble.

Camera 7/10

Lets see the camera is both good and bad. It always does a nice overhead view if you solving puzzles and such. But the annoying thing is when you get into a fight. Too many times have I not been able to see my character and the enemys attack me becasue a log got in the way. You cannot control the camera which is either a plus or negative depending on your style of play.

Replayability: 6/10 Unfortunately I see no reason to replay this game. Once you You dont feel the need to do it again. It is just not a very replayable game. With pretty much no extras execpt some dragon egg secrets which aren't that great. The only nice extra is the fact you can play multiplayer.

Rent or buy: This game is quite fun dont get me wrong but I suggest you rent it can see what you think of it then. It is just too expensive because let me tell you something now. You will love this game or hate it.

Overall 8/10 I know this isn't a average but this is just how the game feels.
