Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2

"Huge Disappointment"

Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi 2 is a huge disappointment for what it was supposed to be. This game was supposed to have 100 different characters but most are just transformations and clones of other characters. This is not a good game and I suggest not getting it.

Gameplay: 3/10
Absolutely horrible, each character now has combos you can do. But each character has the exact same combo list so you master every character. In most fighting games each character is balanced, but some are always stronger/weaker than others. This is not like that. There are characters who are pretty godly that make any new person own with that character. There are also incredibly weak characters that do little damage to the opponent.

Graphics: 8/10
This might be the best thing in this game. The graphics are made to look like the anime. They've added detail to what the characters look like such as tears in their clothes or blood on their skin. The stages have detail to them and can be destroyed. But if you're playing a game for graphics you should just buy a PS3.

Story Line: 3/10
I don't see how anyone can find this enjoyable. You fly around on a map and go to a destination that's picked for you. It's the exact same story I've been playing since DBZ:Budokai. They've added some very bad storylines that have you killing the exact same person with different characters.

Music: 5/10
The music in this game is not good at all. Most of the songs are horrible and don't fit in a fighting game at all. There are a few good songs but most are pointless and should be removed from this game.

Controls: 4/10
The controls aren't good at all. The controls are messed and you'll break your controller before you figure out the controls. Most of the controls are messed and unreliable such as teleporting and doing combos. I did just as well in a match mashing buttons as I did trying to figure the controls.

Replay Value: 3/10
There is no replay value to this game. Once you've beaten all the modes you're stuck with this game. Even if your friends play this with you it will get old after a while since they'll get pissed after you've beaten them tons of times.

Overall 4/10
If you're a hardcore DBZ fan and want to play the same game you've been playing for years then go ahead and buy this game. If you really want to spend your money then get a much better game than this.
