"An Xtremely Great Game"

Introduction
This game is the expansion to its previous game, Dynasty Warriors 4. After I beat everything in Dynasty Warriors 4, I decided to get this game to see what new additions were put into the game. There are new modes, Xtreme Mode and Legend Mode, and some new items too. Your weapon levels can now be up to level 11. You can also load your Dynasty Warriors 4 files into this game for those who do not want to do everything they did in Dynasty Warriors 4 over again.

Game Play - 9/10
The game play is very fun and somewhat addicting, especially when you start killing a bunch of people. You basically choose an empire and then a character from that one empire. You also get to have bodyguards with you, and the bodyguards can gain ranks from experience. Then you do missions and have to accomplish them. Usually if you do not accomplish your mission on time or be able to stop the opposing side from accomplishing their mission before you do, you will fail the mission. You kill a variety of people using combos with your weapons. The different ranks of people includes: peons, sub-officers, officers, and commanders. Occasionally, if you kill the commander, you will beat the mission. But other times, you need to do something else like save somebody or claim an area. Overall with the game play, I think it deserves a 9/10.

Controls - 10/10
The controls of the game are very simple. X is to jump, circle is to use your musou if the musou bar is filled up or to just fill it up slowly, triangle is to use as a combination with square or just use it by itself for a unique move, and square is to attack attack and attack some more. It is very easy to get used to if you haven't played Dynasty Warriors 4 before.

Graphics 10/10
The graphics are amazing. The characters look realistic with the details on their costumes and the environment is breath-taking. What else can I say about it, the graphics are great.

Music/Sound 9/10
The sound affects of the battles around you and the footsteps of the horse all sounds so realistic. The background music is plain enjoyable because its Ancient Chinese-like...and sounds modern. Might seem kind of ironic, but that is how I think some of the music sounds. Overall, the music are great, except there might be a few annoying ones.

Story 8/10
There is not much of a storyline in this game. Each character does have their own story that goes along with other characters. But basically, there are just three kingdoms all fighting each other.

Overall 9/10
This game is a great addition to your Dynasty Warriors collection if you are a great fan. If you have never played any games from the series, you should still buy it because it will keep you busy for tons of hours.
