Predator: Concrete Jungle

"Not the best game in the world..... kind of a dissapoinment"

Gameplay: The gameplay for Predator: Concrete jungle was really dissapointing. It forced the gameplayer to follow a set of events. It would have been much better if it was a free roam game like GTA. It also should have been more militaristic. Instead of going after gangs it should have put you up against the military in a non-futuristic environment. Also, a jungle setting would have been way cooler. gameplay: 3/10

Story: The story was pointless. I really didn't care about the history of the events. I just wanted to get to chopping things up. Yes a little bit of story would have been neccesary but this game had way to much narrating and story to it. It should have told the player what the objectives were and left it at that. It also was pointless to have the cutscenes. I kept skipping the cutscenes every time they came on. Story: 0/10

Graphics: Once again, big dissappointment. The predator looks cool. Everything else looks really messed up. The way the people move was stiff and jumpy. The cutscenes were really corny as well. They just added to the story which was pointless to begin with. Executions were good; but the game should have let the player choose which execution to do . Instead the game instantly chooses an execution, even if it was the last one that was performed. Graphics 2/10

Sound: The sound was ok. I really do not like games with a soundtrack in the background so I always turn it off. The music for Predator: concrete jungle was really cheesy. The designers could have been more creative with the music. The voices are also in need of work; namely El Hongo. His voice was really annoying. Different voice actors, such as, people we have actually heard of, would have done better. Sound: 1/10

Characters: The only thing that saved this game from a lower score than 3 was the predator and the aliens. When the aliens were introduced into the game I was really happy; finally a good enemy. They were very well done; and they acted like the aliens from the movies; relentless,stealthy and unforgiving. The predator was also very well done. He was very realistic. Each movement was very lifelike. His blood was really awesome as well. The sound of his breathing was done really well. Other than that the rest of the character were really poor quality. Characters: 8/10

In the end I have to say that this is a definite must have for any predator fan. If you are not a predator fan ten don't waste your money. Alien fans probably don't want this game either. Even though aliens are in it; it really is not worth traversing through all of the levels to get to them. I am a die hard alien fan and I was really bored with the rest of the game.
