"A solid fighting game that will appease to Naruto fans and new comers alike."

To start off, I'll just say that this is the only game that I play on my ps2 at the time. I've always been a fan of Naruto and the NH series, and this game hit the nail right on the head. lol Well let's get this review going.

Gameplay-9/10
This is where the bulk of this game(or any fighting game for that matter) lies. Each character is unique in his or her own way. From Naruto's bunshins to Konohamaru's friends, each character fights differently. Even characters that are meant to be clones fight differently ex: Mait Suit Naruto has a different output than Lee. Each character gets 2 jutsu and 1 ougi(or super) Button Locks are a new found glitch in the game that adds even more depth to the fighting system. It still takes my breath away when I clash a rasengan and a chidori. The only reason why this did not get a 10/10 in game play is due to the broken-ness of some characters like Lee or Kisame. (though this does make it fun when you completely destroy your little cousin that spams a jutsu.)

Sound-10/10
I have owned this game for almost a year and have yet to get tired of the music. Each track fits its stage perfectly, and it brings out the Naruto fan in me to hear some of these great tracks.

Graphics-9/10
The graphics of this game are amazing. I actually questioned how the ps2 disk could hold so much. Each character model represents their respective anime counterpart perfectly. The stages are absolutely amazing(except for the Valley of the End, still don't know why we got to fight on a bridge) The ougis are filled with so much detail that I sometimes forget that it's a game and not the anime.

Story-8/10
The story mode in this game is fairly lack-luster; however, RPG mode makes up for this problem.

My final review for this game is a 9/10 for outstanding achievement in a Naruto game. Buy this game, you will love it. If not then check out the upcoming sequel Naruto Shippuuden: Narutimate Accel or maybe GNT4, but trust me you'd be missing out something amazing.
