Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2

"Very Good DBZ game, check out this review"

If you have never played a DBZ game before and you are looking to purchase or rent this one to check it out. I highly recommend this as a first DBZ game. Aside from all the other DBZ games out there, such as DBZ Budokai, DBZ Budokia 2 and 3 etc. This one is by far the ebst ive played.

Action-8/10- The action is this game (the fighting) is actually very fun. Not only can absh your oppenent down into the ground with your ki blasts or charged punches, you can destroy carious objects in the level with their bodies. The action can get slighlty boring if indeed, you are an expert at the game. If you're really that good then try and face five oppenents at the same time. You can use all different techniques to win a battle.

Characters-9.5/10- Why not a 10, you ask? Well if you didnt already know, there is over 120 characters, mind boggling amount of charcters. At first it was a ten, but then why you get deeper into the game, you realize that they count super sayains as charcters, so lets say theres 2 forms to every sayain, that means that half of the characters will be second/third forms of the character. Other than that fact, the character selection is unbelievabe, you can fight as so many different characters, starting from as far as kid Goku. All the characters have different moves, and combos, but all the same buttons, so it's very easy to catch on when it comes to fighting your opponent.

Story-7/10- I was greatly dissapointed in the story line for this game. When I had first got the game, thats all I was into, unlock the characters and beat the game. I got about 51% done with the game, when I started to explore different aspects of the game. Such as z-items fusions, duels, battle z etc. Thats when I just stopped playing story and just worked on my skills which proved to be a fantastic idea because I can easily kill guys on very strong. The story line cut scenes are also very dissapointing. They can sum up the whole thing with vegeta and Goku, into about 3 mins. I was getting madder and madder once I got to the later stages of cell and frieza. I was expecting these through cutscenes about what happened, but no, just a few minutes.

Extras-10/10- I was amazed with the extra features that are in DBZ. In this game you can do z-item fusions, you can duel, you can do battle z, and you can have your very own password character, not to mention the tournaments which were in all the DBZS. In z-item fusion you can fuse two z-items and get new ones, you can even unlock charcters. Its very fun. Thats another reason why I stopped story mode, because you dont always unlock characters from story mode. Dueling is the basic, player vs. comp,1 player vs 2 player, comp vs. comp, single battle, tag battle, and free battle (5 on 5). Nothing special but its a heck of a training tool to get better. Now there are password characters. This means that you can pick a character or characters, and put z-items on them to make them stronger, then you take the password to your character and give it to friends. If you want to fight your friends password character because he says hes "unbeatable" then tell him to give you his password and then show him whose boss. Also, another thing with password charcters is that you can take some passwords from the web, put them in and get really fun and good characters, such as Baby Vegeta, Super Gohna etc.

This game is very highly recommended even to people who havent watched DBZ. Thats why I give it an 8/10.
