Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2
Review by liquidleonx3
"What? Neji using chidori? Get outta here."
After months of endless waiting Naruto Ultimate Ninja 2 finally blasts it's way into North American stores and believe me when I tell you, its good. With a bigger character roster, new modes, and moves, Naruto Ultimate Ninja 2 was worth the wait and the 40 bucks.
Gameplay 10/10 - Awesome. The controlls are responsive and you can immediatlely feel comfortable with the game. There's tons to do also. You can duke it out with a friend, play the all new Ultimate Mode in order to unlock new characters and abilites, you can build up your favorite character with the new customization feature, or hone your skills in Iruka's Training. You can even apply jutsus that some characters use onto other characters (I.E. - Kyuubi Naruto+Chidori= Awesomeness) Tons to do in all.
Graphics 10/10 - While the graphics may seem the same last years installment but don't be fooled. The graphics have been improved over the last game but you may have to pay attention to notice it. The characters look great and the backgrounds are pleasant to look at. Where the graphics really shine is when you activate the secret attacks. From jutsu to characters everything is brilliantly detailed here.
Sound 8/10 - This is what kept me from giving the game a 10. The sound effects are awesome and the music is great. You will also notice that the sound quality has been improved over last year's title because the sound no longer sounds muffled, something not too many people seem to notice. What really hurts the sound in my opinion is the voices. While I do like the voices in the american dub, in the game they can get a bit annoying (wait until you here how Gaara sounds when gets pounded by a super attack. You will either laugh or cringe). You might find yourself pushing the mute button a few times.
Replay Value - You won't be running out of things to do here very soon. There is tons of characters, jutsus, and items to collect. You will be busy for awhile.
Overall 10/10 - A great game overall. With good graphics, gameplay and sound, Naruto Ultimate Ninja 2 is definately worth your time and money. Believe it!
