Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Review by Darkdoomsday
"A Very Good Harry Potter Game"
This is probably the best Harry Potter game out so far. There is a lot more Hogwarts to explore, things to be discovered, people to talk to, and more tasks than ever before in what is sure to lead to an epic conclusion.
Story 10/10
The story for the game is the same story from the book and movie, but it is very good. Some of the stuff isn't in it, but all of the important events are in the story. The main focus of the game is really searching for the D.A members that Harry has agreed to teach and making Umbridge pay. That is about half of the game.
Controls 5/10
You are going to have one heck of a time with these controls. They absolutely suck for this game. You use the left analog stick to move your character and the right analog stick for the wand movement. The right analog stick makes casting spells unenjoyable. It is very hard to follow the directional wand movements for a particular spell, and many times, you'll find your self casting the wrong spell because of a faulty push of the analog stick. Very hard controls can ruin this wonderful game sadly.
Tunes 10/10
The Harry Potter theme and tunes from previous Harry Potter games make their reappearance. The tunes of this game are great and are sure to send you on a stroll down memory lane of the other games.
Gameplay 9/10
The gameplay of this game is awesome. You basically use the Mauraders Map to find people to complete tasks for and places if you don't know where they are. The two things that I don't like about the gameplay are the positioning of the camera and its relative shortness. The camera positioning ruined parts of the game, but it was still good, you just couldn't see what was below you. The main story of the game you could probably beat in a day or a weekend. The ending is probably the coolest and epic ending for all of the Harry Potter games out.
Overall 9/10
I highly recommend for you to buy this game. If want to just beat the story of the game, then I recommend renting it. If you want to discover everything and complete the game 100%, I would buy the game definitely. Either version of the game will be good because the story is always the same, just different controls.
