Did I accidentally put in GOW?

First of all, this game is a rip off of GOW and DMC. The combat system is exactly the same, and they even took the style meter (damned, condemned, vengeance). But I do want to point out that this is a totally awesome game and that it is really fun. Anyway, onto the review.

Game play- 9/10
This game has very smooth game play. The on-foot levels are incredibly fun with different finishing moves, and light, and heavy attacks. However, this game loses a point because of repetitiveness. After a while, the moves start to become boring and I was hoping for a more detailed combat system. Also, a few more different kinds of enemies would be nice. Then there are the motorcycle missions. This is a very nice part of the game, and it doesn't feel “tacked on”. You can upgrade your hell cycle with spirits earned in the on foot mode. Also, you can buy upgrades to make your hell cycle more dangerous.

Story- 7/10
This part is most likely ghost riders weakest point. There is almost no storyline, and the longest cut scene is less than 30 seconds long. This game leans to heavily on the game play and pretends it doesn't need a story, which is why they lose points in this category.

Sound + Graphics- 7/10
The graphics in this game are really nice. The flames on Johnny's head dance around realistically, his chains fire changes color as you get more dangerous, but when you do really big moves (penance stare) you can't see much because the entire screen is filled up with red, making it impossible to see what's going on. Also, Johnny's sayings get old really fast; it'd be nice if he said something different every now and then.

Replay Value- 9/10
The replay value is very high because once you beat the game; you unlock new characters and cheats to use to play the game again. Also, if you didn't beat the game perfectly, it makes you want to keep trying and trying and trying, so my suggestion would be to buy the game so you can play through the whole thing.
