Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies

"Mobius 1, Engage!"

Simply an awesome Ace Combat game. all 18 missions are nicely put together and simply beautiful. There is no qualms that this game is great! Here is the Mission Update!

Difficulty: 4/10: The game is so easy, the Red Baron could beat the game within at least 30 minutes. The game is not hard, but it is intense. ISAF is too weak to fight off the Eruseans themselves, I guess. They could have made it a little tougher. Of course, the game is tough to master, but when you do master it, it is so easy, you might get your plane shot down on purpose. (Not the F-4 Phantom, though.)


Sound Effects: 5/10: Another fault in the game. The machine guns don't even sound like guns. They sound more like a buzzing sound you would hear from a mutated bug. And the missiles don't really sound like a wind sound. The missiles make more of a whoosh sound than a wind sound. The crashes have a boom sound, but a little noisy. You might want to close your bedroom door if you want to smash your plane into the ground, so your neighbor next door to you in an apartment doesn't complain that you are making noise in your apartment room, and your landlord gives you the boot for the noise you are making.

Graphics: 9/10: Simply magnificent and breathtaking 3-D graphics really enhance the game's appeal. The graphics are semi-realistic. The planes look so real-life like. The hangars are so well designed the the USAF would be almost overjoyed at the hanger design and possibly buy the ISAF hangars. One word for the graphics: Magnificent.

Music: 8/10: NICE! I love Rock music! It really describes the game. the orchestral music really spices up the game. Like the Italians say, "Mama Mia, That was a spicy meat-ball!"

After the review, here are the pros of the game.

-Nice graphics
-Definitely a keeper in your library.
- Beautiful graphics
-A great multi-player mode.
- Lots of cool easter eggs.
- Worthy of those bucks you laid down.
-Just plain awesome!
- Mobius 1!

and the cons...

-Too easy!
- Easter eggs are great, but some are a little unnecessary.
- Mobius 1 doesn't respond.
- Limited communication.
- AWACS has repetitive lines.
-Voices are monotonous.


Well done Namco. Put a nice big Mission Accomplished in your Ace Combat 4 folder. Mobius 1, RTB!
