"A lot better than the others"

Story 8/10:
The main story is great. You start off as a getaway driver for simple liquor store robberies in the 1970's New York. The main character's name is the kid or TK and he is 18. Your first friend is Ray, the owner of an auto customization shop. You soon become a tycoon having it all; drugs, money, and cars. You then get framed for murder and are imprisoned until 2006. You then seek revenge against those who framed you at the age of 46. Now your back in a newer New York and everything has changed, including your penthouse apartment.

Gameplay 8/10:
The gameplay has increased to a better and realistic way. In past driver games if you commit any crime, even speeding, the police will shoot at you. Now the police won't shoot unless you pull out a gun or run towards them. They will just have a stand off and call for back up like S.W.A.T team. You can steal cars that are moving in the street and risk a felony or casually go into a parked car with out any worries. The traffic violations are realistic such as passing a red light or speeding.

Sound/Graphics 9/10:
The sound is beautiful. The guns are realistic and cars rev like real life. Auto accidents have real life noises as if you were involved in it. People's voices are different based on era's. New York looks realistic in the 70's and 2006. The surroundings of new york change over time and so does your safe house. The characters are realistic in ways like their ponytails will bounce and they will hold pistols in unique ways.

Cars 10/10:
For ever driver has had the most detailed cars ever. This time they've outdone themselves again. The cars are more realistic than grand theft auto. The engine noises are great and all the cars look great with their curves and shine. You can pick from an assortment of cars like exotics, muscle, utility, motorcycles, racing, or commercial vehicles like bulldozers and fire trucks. If you leave cars in your garage in the 70's you will see them in 2006.

Customization 3/10:
The car customization is what gave me a tick. You can't pick the actual things you want on your vehicle they are preset. There are presets that are fun and others that are rediculous like turning an ambulance into a sandwhich van. Then again it is fun to put 40 inch rims on a bull dozer. You can get engine upgrades, ride height upgrades, suspension changes, and nitrous shots.

Side Missions 7/10:
You can do a variety of things to gain extra money like drive people around in taxi cabs. You can spot these missions in cars parked on the streets. You can also go to the circuit races and race for cash and prize cars. You can work for an extortionist raquet, street races, getaway driving, hitman missions, or just make the police mad and evade them.

Total 9/10:
In total I gave driver a 9 because I kept using the word realistic many times and that's what this game is. This is sure to be an instant classic.
