"Best ps2 game noone has ever heard of. . ."

What is your taste of music? Is it heavy metal? How about techno? How about smooth jazz? Or how about... a little bit of everything? Now I want you to answer another question. . What do you do when you mix a variety of music into a game properly? Read on

My definition is simply a flawless title if done right. It does not need to be glorified in graphics. It's a shame that this game did not get a lot of attention or hype. However, I do not know of one person who has played this game and did not take a liking to it. Even people who dispise the genre love this game. Let me give you my opinion why you should buy this game...

Graphics: First of all, one thing you should know is that this game is NOT known for its' graphic ability. They are more cartoony then realistic BUT, they suit the game just fine and once you see it, you will understand.

Story: I will not spoil this for you. However, I will let you know what this game is about. A young boy who is given the legendary power of music to battle his opponents. Sounds crazy huh? You do not know the half of it. The story is very well done, and will keep you asking yourself "What happens next?".

Gameplay: This element of the game is where it truely shines the most. It is very original even for a game of its' genre. Out of every music game I have ever played (that being too many to name) this is definatly the best by far. I highly advise you to learn each and every song impecably. This will sky rocket your chances of beating these songs to your full potential. Keep one thing in mind though, this game can get very challenging. However if it does, just do what I said previously. Memorize the songs and you shall become unstoppable.

Controls: They respond very well to each and every push of a button. At the same time, they are very sensative.. So be prepared. Each song has two types of battles... One type is when you play your Gitaroo to attack the enemy, the other is a charge which is used to heal you. Sounds easy right? Wrong. This game is very challenging I promise you.

Conclusion: I just cannot give this game a tagline to do it justice. It is by far the best ps2 game that noone has ever heard of. Do yourself a favor, call your local game store, get 30 bucks in your pocket, and go check out Gitaroo Man! Noone has been disappointed yet, you will not be either.

My closing comments are as follows:
I sincerely hope that my review has satisfied you 100% to knowing what this game truely is. I also hope that you will have as much fun with it as I did. And lastly, I hope to see a sequel (not including the psp version) even though I truely do not believe it will happen.

Good luck, and keep jammin'!!
