This Game Rules!!
This is my first review so stay with me.
This game was pretty good, but it does get boring after a while.
Gameplay- 10/10 When it comes to gameplay it can't get any better than this. With all the different setups like the Rolling Hammer, Heavy Finish, Blaster Wave, Flying Kick, and the Rush Ki Wave. You also have a lot of kinds of follow up combos to choose from like the Tri Attack, the Air Combo, and the Blast Combo. What was a really nice addition was the Sonic Sway. I won't reveal details here.
Story- 9/10 The story mode takes a step down from Tenkaichi 2. Instead of having every battle, there is now a shorter story containig exactly 45 battles. What is amazing is that Charaters actually respond to the action by talking from the sidelines. R3 is used to progress through the story, whether it be a fighting clash, an energy clash, transformation, or a move to automatically finish your opponent. Also depending on your actions in battle, you can create a what if within that battle. Wrap it all together and you have an awesome mode.
Graphics- 9/10 Graphics are pretty good. With all the flashy mumbo jumbo stuff being shot allover the place, you'll be hooked instantly. The aura on people is much more improved compared to the last version. Also pretty much every Energy Technique create a stunning display of explosive power when they hit the ground.
Sound- 8/10 The sound is probably the weakest of all the elements, but not bad at all. The Japanese voices are still much better than the English Voices, but the English voices were pretty good too. And when a Super Kamehameha hits the ground, it sounds just like it would in the series.
Characters 9/10 As usual they added about 20-25 characters including King Cold, King Vegeta, Nail, Babidi, Spopovitch, and General Blue. But we could still use more characters for this game.
Overall- 9/10 For this game the pros definitely outweigh the cons.
+ 159 characters
+ Perfect fighting Engine
+ Awesome story Mode
+ Awesome character designs
+ Unique moves
+ About 11 different modes including Disc Fusion
- Auto Lock
- Auto Taunt
- Not enough potaras and most of these don't even do what they say they do.
So if you want this game and are intrigued by this review by all means go and buy it, if not go and rent it. You won't be dissapointed.
