Star Wars: Battlefront II

"The Force is Definatly with this game!"

Graphics 7/10
With Star Wars Battlefront II you get your basic 3-D graphics...and nothing else. The textures are flat and glitches are numerous, and the enemies were hard to see in certain areas, but thats a small dent in this game's amazingness. The cinamatic graphics, however are pretty decent for game that is as old as this one.

Sound 10/10
The sound is this game was very nice. From the hum of the lightsaber to the ping of a blaster rifle I was never disappointed in this games sound. Even the voices were better than I expected. The game does not use the original cast to do the voices, but the actors they used were nothing to complain about. while playing the game your team members will talk to you saying things like "Another Command Post for the Repulic!" or "The Battle is Ours!!" and the voice acting for those is good too.

Controls 10/10
The controlls in this game were virtually flawless. Someone that had never played a PS2 in their lives could have picked up the controller and played this game just fine. The auto-target system made anyone a sharpshooter, and the sprint function made it easy to run through treacherous battlefields unharmed. Also the game offers different camera angles making th game prefect for any gamer. You can go with the 3rd person mode for someone who is mroe RPG oriented, or the 1rst person mode for those people who wish they could play Halo but don't have an X-Box 360.

Gameplay 10/10
Star Wars Battlefront is a FUN game, it offers many different modes of play, from hunt where you try to eliminate as many of the opposing forces as possible, to conquest where you play a "Repulbic V.S. CIS" capture the flag type game. The game also offers a "Rise of the Empire" story mode where you play through various missions and serve the dark side. the game also offers a mode for the more strategy based gamers called "Galactic Conquest" where you playa board game style spaceship battle. Lightsaber fans dont fret! if you do well enough while playing conquest or hunt you will be given the opportunity to play as a Jedi or Sith (depending on which side you are fighting for.)

Star Wars Battlefront II is a good game for a beginner gamer that enjoys Star Wars and shooters,it has Decent but sometimes glitchy Graphics,pretty good quality sound,just about flawless controlls, and exciting, engaging gameplay. I give Star Wars Battlefront II a final score of 9/10
