Driver: Parallel Lines

"MUCH Better Than DRIV3R!"
Introduction:
As I said in the title, Driver: Parallel Lines is much better than it's predecessor DRIV3R. I had the most fun with this than any other Driver games. It is the 4th game in the Driver series. Anyways, on to the review.
Gameplay: 9/10
This is the game's strongest point. I was amazed at it's vehicles right when I started. If you see a vehicle you like on the street, you can press a button and get in, criminal style. The game is actually not that hard, in contrast with the others, with only a few rip-your-hair-out missions. There is a pretty big arsenal ranging from pistols to shotguns to rocket launchers! Every vehicle can be blown up with a nice explosion.
Story: 7/10
The story of this game is okay, nothing to write home about. It's about a guy that can drive that wants to get people to know him. The characters have their own personalities, and are very believable. Your main character is pretty young, only 18 years old. He gets betrayed and goes to jail. When he gets out, he's 46 and ready for revenge.
Graphics: 8/10
The game's graphics are pretty good. The gameplay graphics are good, with no bad textures but nothing great. The pedestrians are done pretty well. The cars really look like their real-life counterparts. The game's cutscenes are perfect. When I first saw them, I thought they hired actors. I had no idea that it was actually computer-graphic.
Sound: 7/10
The game's sound is okay, too. The people are voiced pretty good. Although some people just made me say, "When do I kill them?" The pedestrians' dialogue gets pretty repetitive quickly. The vehicles sound pretty good, with the hum of sports cars and roars of SUV's.
Replayability: 8/10
Driver: Parallel Lines has a prize you get for completing the game which lets you switch from 2006 back to 1978 and vice versa. That way, you can get the cars you missed from that era. It is a sandbox game, which means it has a free roam feature that adds anywhere from 20-80 hours of extra playtime!
Rent Or Buy: BUY!
You won't get the most of this game if you only play it for 4-8 days! You have to buy this to witness it's true power. I first rented it and bought it 2 days in.
Conclusion:
Get this game now! It has good graphics and sound, awesome gameplay, and a good story. Not to mention high replayability. I bought this game, and haven't regretted it since.
Final Score:
7.8/10 or 8/10.
