Gauntlet Dark Legacy

Game play 10/10:

This has to be on my top 3 list of the best game I've ever played. It's extremely re playable and takes a while to beat completely. So you can be playing this game for a while. There's many features like, leveling up your character, unlocking new realms, fighting bosses, collecting money to buy items that can help you through the game, some challenging puzzles, and cheat codes. These aren't a very big list of features. I just named everything I could think of in one minute.


Cheats 9/10:

Like many games, this one has cheat codes. I can't say much on this section because I'm not going to spoil any of them. For a full list of hidden characters you have to use codes for, go to the cheats section on gamefaqs. But if you do use cheats, it can make the game much funner. There's a ton of them so you can be enjoying them for a while.


Co-op 10/10:

In case you don't know what co-op means, it's playing on story mode with multi-player.
Gauntlet dark legacy would still be fun without Co-op mode, but I think that this makes it a lot better. You can invite friends over just to use something in co-op mode. If you have Gauntlet dark legacy for the Play station 2, you can only play with up to 2 characters in co-op mode. With X-box or game cube you can play with 4 characters. The more characters you have, the funner it is. That's what I think. You probably would/do also.


Graphics 6/10:

Graphics are something that ruin this game. Like I said at the tag-line, I would have given this game a 10/10 if it wasn't for the graphics. There's a lot of detail, but the plain quality is bad. Every time you kill someone, the shape of their body turns into blood and it falls on the ground and disappears. I can't explain much more about the graphics much, so that's this section!


Storyline 8/10:

The storyline is just an average role-playing storyline. I can't spoil it though. This paragraph is going to be very short.





I rounded up every ranking and it came to an 8.6/10 which rounds to a 9/10. I hope you enjoyed this review, and I hope you enjoy playing gauntlet dark legacy.
