"Another great Socom game to add to your collection"

Ah, Socom 3 - there's a game. Socom 1, that got everyone interested. Socom 2, people started to see potential in this game. Then came Socom 3, which delivers nicely.

Gameplay
9/10

This game is very easy to play, it has the simple controls like any other squad based game and is a breeze to learn. Socom 3 is easy to play, you basically aim at your enemys and shoot, not to hard to do. The only problem with your controls is driving the cars, R1 on foot is shoot, but in a car it is move forward, if you are still holding R1 when you get out, you shoot everywhere, damaging you accuracy and stealth, that is one thing to watch out for. But with 3 different areas of operation you won't get bored.

Story
8/10

You are Specter, you are in the Navy SEALs. You specialize in urban combat and lead a squad of four well trained teammates. You must go into the field and do a range of missions including desert ops and stealth. Don't let us down.

Graphics
7/10

The graphics in Socom 3 are quite nice. They are better then it's predecessors, but still aren't fantastic. Faces of players are generally well done, but you get the usual plants that are 2D and rocks that have edges coming off them where they shouldn't. Guns etc are blurry, but otherwise fine.

There's nothing better than hearing a bang from a .50 caliber rifle, and that's what you get, this game is great for sounds, bushes rustle, machine guns sound as they do, and you get that nice crack from your snipers.

Play quality
8/10

It doesn't take too long to finish this game, as there are many checkpoints and saves that guarantee mission success. Once you've completed it you unlock the next difficulty, and once you complete it in that difficulty you unlock such things as; weapons, ghillie suits, characters for online play, music and videos. It can get tedious finishing it over and over again, but the fact that you have a wider arsenal makes it quite enjoyable to re-play the game.

Overall
8/10

Socom 3: US Navy SEALS is a wonderful game, with a lot to look forward to. They really are going the right way for this game, and there is not a whole lot to improve on. I highly recommend buying it - worth you money.
