Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity

"Ride through Gravity"

Rider171 is doing his first review on SONIC RIDERS ZG so this is the first review of this game here I just wanted to do it it's also my first review of any game NOTE this contains spoilers

Story 8.5/10
This is basically a quick tale of sonic and the rogues trying to uncover the mystery of The ark of the cosmos which allows them to defy gravity as seen in the first scene and opening of the game when Doc Eggman tries to use the energy of them when he used his robots to gather them up a robot then he then (of course) loses them to the babolyn garden which makes a giant black hole to appear and threaten to destroy the world you must use THE POWER OF THE GEAR to beat the master core abis once beaten a corny scene with the rogues happen and Jet starts racing sonic on boards

Gameplay 9/10
the gamplay brings back memories of the old sonic riders game but with a worse drift but a better type of boost you still have to run at the beginning and when you run out of fuel which isn't air now it's gravity points during the boost you fly around and bounce off of objects or holes to get a better boost the attacking is not as good as the last one you have to get items to attack (even when super sonic whose attack is the same as his boost when you collect sixty rings) when on your feet you have access to foot areas where you take a shortcut of that similar to the stage your in it also works better to use your breaks instead of the gravity drift so overall it holds it's own but loses some ground also

Graphics 9/10
It's very good for a ps2 game it makes you wish the character models were used for a REAL sonic game the water looks good in the Aquatic capital and water tempest courses and everything will fly with you when you use the gravity boost so it's pretty good

Unlockables 10/10
This is where it gets good when you beat courses you gain rings and you can buy boards for the races also in mission mode like the last one when you get gold on everyone you unlock Super Sonic as a playable character

Replayability 9/10
this is fun to play with your friends in the modes it offers and you also van relay race with them the mission mode is what keeps most people playing so they can get super Sonic which is a good character to get also when you have to keep playing story mode to the end to get other characters I was overjoyed when I got Silver unlocked

Modes 10/10
This game offers different mode BATTLE MODE which holds fights GRAVITY BALL which I love but it gets boring if not played with good people TOURNAMENT MODE and RACE mode which speaks for themselves

OVERALL 9.5/10
This is a decent sonic game I spent hours playing it and the levels are all amazing my next review will be SONIC UNLEASHED so see you next time
