"Final Fight in 3-D baby!"

Final Fight. Fighting Force 64. All these titles bring back memories of sleepless nights, trash bags full of bags that used to hold cheese puffs, and nothing but the final fight like game. Man, if only. But yes, only is now! Dynasty Warriors 2 is just like Fighting Force 64, except the range of 3-D is broader, and you don't have to walk everywhere. The sound is great, horses neighing, people screaming, just perfect. Graphics are da' bomb, another game that realizes the PS2's full out potential. A little slowdown and build up here and there, but come on, 60 guys on one screen at once? Give Koei a little slack here guys.
The gameplay is my main plus on this review. The controls are easy enough, slash, jump, special, just like the layout that Midway used for Gauntlet Legends for Dreamcast. Jump can get you off of buildings without using the stairs, over piles of junk, out of tense battles. Slash can take care of 5 guys at once, or a couple blows to one or 2 enemies. The special is really cool. Just let your musou (it's your special meter) build up, and one it's at full, then just let her rip. It can take a large amount of enmies at once, I once took out like 30 guys with one special from Xuan Yu, the man of the game, the Arnold of DW2. The replay is so-so, you might still want to play it after a little whil. Let me rephrase. You will, just the frustration can nip you sometimes. Very few, very few. And one more thing. You can actually save your game! But this is because the game is a campaign game,You beat it in a week, not an hour. You can also ride horses, and do a little bit of bruise 'n' cruise. Heh, heh, heh...

Wow, is the last review word on it. If you like beat em ups, then buy it. If you like action, buy it. Heck, if you like games buy it. Dynasty Warriors 2 is the fighting game we've all been waiting for!!!
