Good, but it does get a little slow ...

If you are a person who has like this game in the past, you will like it. But this game lacks a lot of stuff, 3-point shoot-out, create a team, challenges, and more. If you have to get a basketball game for the PS2, as I had to do, get this. I'm just glad that 2002 will be here this fall. Can't Wait. One problem in this game is rebounding, offensive rebounds are a big problem, the offense always seems to get the rebound, I mean the computer got about 10 off. rebounds in a row in a game I played. The sound isn't that bad or isn't that good, and the announcing in the game I can see better to. The default camera view stinks, the ball seems to be heading the opposite way. The part I missed most is the fact they have no create a team, so you can't put all your favorite players on one team. This game you can get to playing over again but remind there is no franchise mode like madden 2001, so you can't have multiple seasons over and over and over again. The 1 on 1 feature is still in the game and I still like it, but again the rebounds and camera are horrible. I cannot seem to know where the ball is going. And not to mention the blocks in this game, I seem to get about 20 blocks a game, in a 5 min a quarter game! I think that is a little too easy to block. Steals are easy but not easy where you can get them every time though, which is good. They seem to have more steals in the 4th quarter, either that's a mistake they made, or they really made the game kind of real where they know it's the last quarter and they need the ball. But again if you are a very big basketball fan and you have liked this series of games the past few years you will enjoy the game, it is fun I admit that, but it does lack some stuff.
