"With lush graphics, great gameplay, excellent storyline, what more do you need?"

Now that's really a feeling Resident Evil. It's just like using Jill with a sword at hand. I was very hesitant to buy the game buy when I actually saw the gameplay, storyline, graphics, etc., I didn't regret the fact the I bought it.

Gameplay/Controls (10 pts): If you've been around since the Resident Evil series, you'll be familiar on how to navigate around. The gameplay is really almost the same. You go to certain places, find Orbs (instead of keys) and kill off the demons that appear before you. There's also a slew of equipments and items, and of course, there are also files just like in the RE series. What makes this game a little different from the RE series is that you can interact with your environment and talk to almost whomever you want. You can destroy crates/boxes and lots more things that block your way. Enemies also have AI (just a little bit) and will attack you when you're most vulnerable. Overall, the gameplay will keep you sitting in your chair wanting to finish the game. The controls are also very easy to understand. You can move about easily and attacking will be as easy as it can be. The buttons are well-mapped so that certain actions, especially important once, can easily be pulled-off.

Storyline (10 pts): The quite medieval with a twist of a Samurai story, make this game unique among other adventure games. With the game being a DVD game, it is jam-packed with very intriguing stories. What adds more to the storyline is that there's the inclusion of voices in the game. So it really feels that you're in the story yourself.

Graphics/Sounds (10 pts): What can I say? The graphics are extremely, majestically, magnificently, excellently, etc. presented. The lush environment (almost life-like) and the detail to the characters and the enemies are way beyond what I expect. A true 3D game. As for the sound effect and the music, they are very well incorporated into the storyline, especially in-game voices. With Dolby Digital Surround Sound, your ears will pop at its immense power.

Replay Value (6 pts): This is the only downside to the game. No gamer (or just a few) will give more of his/her time to repeat the whole storyline again. This might get a little boring at times. It's really not recommended for re-playing.

As a conclusion, if you need an adventure game to fill in for your Playstation 2, I recommend that you buy this game. You won't regret that you've bought it with your hard-earned cash as you'll enjoy every second of it.
