"ATV Offroad Fury, the 1 and a half hour game!"

I first heard of ATV Offroad Fury on Toonami, and I thought ''Hmm, a 4-wheeler game. This should
be interesting. It was the first PS2 game I had got, and I played it for quite some while. Now,
I have played many games, and this was a good one, and here are its scores.

Graphics: 9/10
Yeah, you heard me! a complete 9/10! Wow, such smooth graphics in the levels, the grounds look
great. The characters look awesome, along with their ATVs. When i was playing freestyle, I got
ran over by a train, and that's when i noticed how detailed the train was! It was so cool! It
could have got a 10/10, but I didn't give it that because the trees in levels didn't look too real.
But it's better than most games, like Oni.

Sound: 6/10
Ok, heres the problem with sound. First, I will start off with the soundtrack. I didnt like it.
The soundtrack could have been better. They put old and unliked songs in it, such as Tony Hawk Pro
Skaters ''Jerry Was a Race Car Driver.'' My friends, who like riding, didn't like the sound track in
this either, except for 1 song: Superfly. It has punk rock, and I like punk rock, but this is really
crappy punk rock. Next, is the sound itself. The SFX, was really good. The only problem was that it
didn't have much of a variety of sounds. If you flew off your ATV 1000 ft. In mid air and slammed
against rock, you wold make the same sound as if you had tipped over a little too much. That was
a big mistake.

Physics: 5/10
Okay, this game is completely unrealistic. When you go off a jump you _float_ and if you have ever
really gone ATV riding, you will definitly notice. Also, you can go about 180 ft. off of a 3 ft.
jump. You can almost go up walls of dirt, but its hard to. And you CAN land about a 200 ft. drop.
I gave it's score halfway, because at least you don't turn in mid air, and physics look more realistic when
competing.

Replayability: 4/10
Oh wow, this game got boring. When I got new games, I was thinking about using ATV Offroad Fury as
a hockey puck. This game got boring! There are a lot of tracks, sure, but I just didnt want to play
this game anymore. Maybe it was because I am not a big fan of sports, besides BMX biking and dirt
biking.

Control: 10/10
It cant get easier, really. Now, what I am about to tell you is really what happened. My friend was
over playing ATV Offroad Fury, (I was really bored with it, by the way) and my friend _really_
sucked at this game. ''This game is so unfair! The company who made this game need to know that there
are people who don't have the abilitys to do really good at this game!'' My reply was, ''Well then,
screw those people.'' In other words, If you really suck at video games, you can still beat this
game. The controls make it that way. Also, you can use Analog.

Overall: 6.5/10
Not exactly what i thought this game would be, but it is REALLY easy to get fooled into thinking
this is an awesome game by either looks, or playing it for a short amount of time and it was your
first PS2 game you have ever played.

All right, now for the final question...

Rent or Buy?
This completely depends. Continue reading.

Why you should BUY
1. If you really like ATV riding
2. If you suck at games. This is an easy one.
3. If you like racing games. If you liked Motocross
Madness, get this one!!!

Why you should RENT
1. If you bought, and a month later, or when you get
a new game, this will be who knows where and
you wont care.
2. You can beat this game really easy. Trust me.
There are 15 tracks and it takes about
5 minutes to beat each one, if you are
good. 15 X 5 = 75. You could beat this game
in about an hour and a half.

All right, its about time I end this review. ATV Offroad Fury is only good if you are a die hard
fan.
