"Hardcore Basketball at its best!"

NBA Street is a top notch game with a few fatal flaws. The obvious one is not normal 5 on 5 or team play. But this is not necessarily a draw back since it opens up the floor for plenty of more fast paced, fancy trickery, ducks, and hard blocks. This game is the NFL Blitz for basketball if you haven't played blitz then the word says it all. Really the game overloads you with super human shots and moves and provides a variety of them too you. You control one team of people in standard mode and explore the streets looking for matches and even to unlock new players that can help you one your way and join your team.

Graphics 9/10
NO big complaints here other than some blocky characters but the graphics are on par with any basketball game on the market to date.

Gameplay 5/10
The fun factor when you first pop this game in your PS2 is amazing with the training modes too taking it too the street you be entertained for hours. But here is the draw back though entertained for hours you often lose interest as the amazing blocks and fancy ducks pass over your head you realize that is really all this game has to offer.

The compulation of songs and beats on this game is amazing you'll love the music

Control 9/10
The game controls very well and pulling off moves is no longer that big of a hassle since after a few tries it almost become natural. A definite plus too this game.

Options 8/10
The type of options which you have available to you are amazing from playing in the schoolyard or on the street. Or the simple training modes are fun and informative and teach you the standard flow of the game.

I rated this game pretty low becuase of its gameplay because really the only important thing to most people is if the game will keep them entertained or not.

I loved this game and it is really fun to just sit back alone or with a few friends and play this game I suggest you rent before you buy but in my books this is simply a fun filled game but only a rental.
