Extermination

"Definately will go down as a good game."

Extermination is a really fun game to play. It is a mix between Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid. One thing Extermination does well is it changes things up a little bit...Well maybe it isn't drastic but atleast it's something at little different. It doesn't take too much to make a better control system than Resident Evil. The old RE people worked on it anyway. At least they made it better though.

Gameplay 8/10
The gameplay is pretty much what you expect when u mix Resident Evil and Metal Gear solid. The control is a H%^^ of a lot better than Resident Evil though. One thing I have to say though is that you can't choose to walk in the game you can only run over a certain distance making some situations harder than others. Besides that they have a good aiming system and a fun amount of weapons and stuff melee and ranged to keep you entertained. I think it is a lot better than Resident Evil Code Vericonica X. Which I think was a poor exuse for a game. MGS2 will be better though.

Graphics 7/10

These are pretty good graphics but have come to be what we expect from a Playstation 2 game. I really hate judging graphics. Heck I don't know what are good and bad. I only can really tell if they are really good or really bad. They are not bad I guess they kinda look like alotta games on Playstation 2. Pretty grose seens of gore though. The seens are so grose you definately see why the game is mature. Mature games seem to be the best because they are not really afraid to go anywhere. Great example of this is Twisted Metal Black.

Sound 8/10

Creepy noises and spooky sounds are what you are to expect from Extermination. At times the sounds will scare you when there nothing scary basically if your a wuss keep a light on. Walking noises sound good everything sounds like it should. Thats a good thing though. There are some pretty cool music tracks.

Lasting appeal/extras/ 8/10

PrEeTy entertaining game. I enjoyed it maybe I'm just too laxed when i review games but who knows. Hey if I like it I'll give it a good review. It is pretty long for an adventure game though.

RENT OR BUY?
I rented it beat and and had fun I'd suggest you do the same. If you really love the game buy it. It is really up to you I'm only making a suggestion.
