"Konami, why?"

I just wanted to write this review and tell you about my own experience about this game... First of all, i just rented it and im glad i did. And second, this is my opnion on this game.

Story 3/10: About a guy with a big arsenal of swords and a girl with guns, gatling guns and shotguns made in bambu style in the old time China that gets to know about something intersting and decides to get there to check it out, the Golden Dragon or something (i dont really remember the name of the characters or what they were looking for)...
Heard that before? Ok maybe not, but its storyline is very thin and the charachters personality may get a bit overconfidnce.

Gameplay 3/10: Its like, short scenarioclip, fight bunch of soldiers and ninjas about 20 at a time, get out, fight more with other playable character, although its computer controlled. Long scenarios, then fight 20 and then another bunch of 20 enemy soldiers and stuff. It gets a bit boring after a while, especially when almost all the enemy are the same and they all like flood in if you dont get out of there

Control 2/10: This is the worst part, the control, when playing with the sword guy, the controls may be controllable but with camerawiev problems and aiming problems whenevr you try to turn around. When playing with pistol Oyru (the girl), thats the worst part. She can only use guns and you have to aim manually if you dont get close enough to stand in front of the enemy. But if you do so, you will easilly be a easy prey for the enemies. And what makes it worst is that even if you stand close to you target, you still have to turn around to aim properly.

Graphics 7/10: Its not bad, could have been better if compared to other PS2 games from Konami as Zone of the Enders. But the graphics are a bit to pixly. The charachter design aint bad either, but the enemies could have been made more different. But there is one thing that really REALLY annoys me. Its the bullet graphics, its like a big yellow dot like from old Space shooter games... You know those that were played years ago...

Sound 6/10: Chinese melody can be heard in the background, 2 minus because of the gun sounds, it sounds like shooting with a toy gun, even with a shotgun, its like ''plupp plupp''.
Sword slashing sound are ok.

Overall 3/10: This is absolutly a rent game, if you re a Konami game collector and want all their games... If not, you should wait for Silent Hill 2 and Metal Gear Solid Sons of Liberty. But if you really want to buy it after reading this rewiev. Go ahead, but dont blame me for you wasting your own money you couldve bought better games for.
