"Time Crisis 2 + a bazillion extras = LOTS OF FUN"

Graphics- 9/10 Normally I wouldn't score this very high because of the older graphics and slightly dull background, but the reason this gets a good score is because the PS2 makes it look better and smoother than it's arcade original.

Sound- 8/10 ''Action!'' and gunfire is all you really hear, music is nonexistent. But then again, what more do you need for an arcade shooter?

Control- 10/10 With the GunCon2. With the controller about 6/10, it's a pain. But the GunCon2 works PERFECTLY.

Replay Value- 20/10 Ok ok, I broke the rules there, but THIS is where Time Crisis II really stands out. To compensate for the fact that the regular arcade game takes only 20 minutes to beat, Namco added extra features and customizable options. It has two classic games, the arcade Quick & Crash, the quick-draw shooter, and Shoot Away 2, the old school frisbee shooting NES game. Both games have different levels and a few game altered options. There is also an Agent Trainer, which allows you to perfect your aim by shooting at bulls eyes or human-shaped targets. A REALLY fun mini game is the Crisis mode, with about 15 short missions (around 40 seconds each) in which you need to kill enemies, not hit hostages, and not get hit once in the time allowed. The actual arcade game itself has some nice options. There are 6 difficulty levels, and by beating the game multiple times you can get options like making your gun not have to reload or to make it a machine gun permanently. (There's another option that you need to beat the game without continuing but I haven't got it yet.) You can also replay arcade mode a few times to boost the max amount of lives you have at the start of the game from the original 4 all the way to 9. Also, besides the regular one and two player games, you can hook up 2 GunCons and play one-player dual gun mode for twice the fun.

Overall- 9.9/10 This game ROCKS!!!Any hard core arcade player or shooting game fan should have a party with this. With so many different options and a polished look, TCII is amazing. The score is dropped .1 points only because it is a hassle to calibrate the GunCon2 every time you start the game.

And my review for the GunCon2

Comfort- 10/10 The gun feels very natural and comfortable. All the buttons are in good places, and is easy to handle being a featherweight. The color may seem odd to some, but since my eyes are glued to the TV and not the gun, it didn't really bother me.

Accuracy- 10/10 Once you get the gun calibrated right, the gun works perfectly.

Responsiveness- 9/10 All the buttons respond immediately with the exception of the bottom button (C, I believe) which is slightly loose and sometimes needs a firm push to work.

Overall- 10/10 Best light gun I ever saw.
