Frequency
Review by DancinTaneo
"Freqin' Sweet."
Frequency is one of those games that come out every once in awhile and make you go ''wow, I'm actually having fun.'' The multiplayer is great, as is the single player.
Graphics-
The Graphics in this game as crisp and colorful. The brightness and the movement of the backgrounds correspond well with the game. The music really fits the overall look. You really don't need the best graphics but these worm in flap-jaw space with the tuning fork graphics are good enough for such a fun game.

Gameplay-
The gameplay in this game is pretty good. Moving from track to track is smooth and quick, and the note catching is challenging and fun. There isn't too much else though.
Music-
I think this music is great because I like techno, metal and rock. The way this game is put together is so neat, each track is a part of the song, and after you complete it, the sound just gets better and better. Not all the tracks have to be completed, and it sounds really cool when you can hear just a single bass line or drum beat that you aren't able to hear with everything in it. In the remix mode, thats where the music gets really fun. Some of the artists in the game are Paul Oakenfold, Crystal Method, Dub Pistils, Powerman 5000, Fear Factory, DJ Qbert, No Doubt. and Orbital, to name a few. They are some of the better songs by these artists that I've heard, which is definitely a plus for a music game.
10/10
Lasting appeal-
This game will take you awhile. You have 3 stages in easy, 4 in normal and 5 in expert. In easy, the first 4 songs of each stage are available, and you must get a certain number of points to get the 5th song unlocked. Just that takes awhile, because you will be playing until you can almost do each song perfect. The change in the songs change alot from each level of difficult. The first song in easy is incredibly different in expert. The 1-4 player option is great. This is a GREAT party game and it's also fun to max out the songs by yourself.
Overall- 10/10, my opinion, i love it, i recommend buying it, but if you are unsure of this genre...rent it, but it is a great game to start it with, and just a great one to play.
Now I will be playing Frequency...so Freq off.
