"Best College Football Game Ever, Period"

This is the best college football game ever made, it has all the division I-A teams, and a few I-AA teams (No Griz though...) Also, it contains that messed up college football thing known as the BCS!

Story- Go through the regular college season and try to make it into a bowl game, and hopefully win the national championship. After the season you lose your graduating class and try to sign the best high school prospects in the nation to keep your dynasty going.

Sound/Graphics- 8/9 There isn't really much for the sound except for the occasional song at the stadium. The announcers do a very good job though, makes it feel like real NCAA football since if the game isn't televised there's barely any comments, and if it's nationally televised there are a ton of comments.
The graphics are very good, the players all look extremely realistic. The faces though could be more different though since there are a lot of the same faces. I really like how there are actually non 2-D players on the sidelines when you're playing.

Controls- 10 Simple to learn. The left analog stick or the directional pad is to move, X is to sprint on offense and change players on defense, Triangle is to hurdle on offense and jump into the air to deflect/intercept a pass on defense, Circle is a spin move on offense and is to sprint on defense, Square is to dive on both sides of the ball, L1/R1 are to juke on offense, L2 is to stiff arm, and R2 is to lateral the ball.

Challenge Level- There are different difficultys to suit your level of experience. Say you're a complete n00b to football games you'd play on Junior Varsity difficultly, also say you're 1337 at football games, try it on Heisman difficulty and maybe you won't be so 1337. If some stuff is too simple just adjust the AI settings to suit your fancy.

Replay Value- 10 Very fun since franchise is so addictive. Trying to keep your team awesome is very good since you won't keep the same team year in and year out. Also there is the campus challenge which is equivalent to the Madden card system on Madden 2001 and Madden 2002.

Basically this game is on par with Madden 2002, if you like the more collegesque stuff (laterals, trick plays, options) then you should probably get NCAA Football 2002, but if you like more realistic things then you should probably get Madden 2002.

Final Score- 10
