Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex

"Good, but falls short of great.."

This installment of Crash was better then the rest in a lot of ways, but definately not the best in any means. but are sequels ever this good????????????

Graphics: 9/10

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! This game has the great graphics of the ps2, and for crash games it is better then all others! It goes well with the feeling of the game. They are big, pretty, and lovely to watch! I dont think they could have done much better, and theres no fault at any time. I think these were perfect for the game, and i have no complaints whatsover! Watching this on a bigger screen is a must. To see all of its great graphics, a higher resolution is great, and i suggest a 23+ inch TV to watch its greatness.

Music: 8/10

Nothing new really. It was good the first 5 times, and is just as good this time around. It might have new stuff, but not too noticeable if there is, one i heard was great, but still not the high point of this game.

Gameplay: 10/10

Similar to its before games, and i loved them, they were exceptional, and goes great with crash. Being able to tiptoe is great, cause now you can not blow up! The variety of moves and abilities are great and different, and make the game wonderful to play. Many moves are the same, with some new ones which make the game playable for hours at end. Challenging, and funn, the levels are great, and you will have to attempt many more then once to beat them or master them, i love that! The game lasts a good while, and has much to it keeping it different and unique. If your new to the crash games it wont take long to get used to the controls this game to last you a while. Vehicles are a great add in this game, and since im a vehicle fanatic, this is great, i loved this! controlling and playing with them was spectacular! there is a vast variety of new vehicles, and crazy graphics on them too. I dont like the fact you cant always control sum of them, and it upset me sometimes, when i was enjoying it, and they went away! The characters in this game is amazing, just like the others, coco is kewl, not as kewl as crash, but damn near close enough. This games gameplay is near perfect and addicting too!

Replayable Factor: 9/10

The new things of this game, are what makes it worth replaying. I loved it the second time just as much as the first, and im on my 3rd times as of now..with all its vehicles and all its moves it can be addicting at time.. i played for hours at end and at times you cant put it down. Even the second time around!

Overall: 8/10

If you like the older crashes then this will be nothing too special to you, but if you liked the others evenly, this is a great game for you! its got new aspects that were greatly made, and i love all it has to offer! im almost 100% sure everyone who liked the old crashes, will like this, so i recommend getting the older ones
