F1 Championship Season 2000

"Oooooh, watch the cars race around!"

This is a bad excuse of a game. Sure, it seems like a good F1 game even, but NOOOOOOO! It fails that too! And hey, I did play that good F1 game on the N64! Stupid Christmas present, just a waste of space on my memory card.

---Story (10/10)
Why does the story get a 10 even though there's no story? Well I thought of one: One day Ginsu3000 got a bazooka. He then used it to destroy all copies of this game! I love stories with happy endings!

---Graphics (6/10)
Okay, okay, so the graphics aren't utter CRAP, just so un-special and boring! The F1 cars look like F1 cars, at least. The roads are bare and so is the grass. And what's with the multi-colored Astroturf? Is that necessary?

---Audio (2/10)
THERE'S NO MUSIC! Okay, racing games don't need music, but they sure do make this a bit more GROOVIER! Not only does this game have no music, you are forced to listen to the crappy sounds of the engines! WHY? Oh well, music isn't necessary in an F1 game anyway, but the menu music is just annoying electronica.

---Control (2/10)
BAD CAR, BAD! Why is it that the cars have to start as slow as a granny? The steam comes out, you turn and end up facing the wrong way. You try to face the right way, and when you do, the process repeats! Turning isn't much better, because power sliding is almost ineffective. You will either end up a) 20 feet into the Astroturf, or b) slamming against the wall. BOO!

---Gameplay (1/10)
Really, I only like racing games if they have a good, innovative idea, or something like that (that's why Midnight Club Street Racing is going to be cool :), not just racing around a track a bunch of times. And the fact that 2-player mode is flawed in a big way doesn't help! For starters, there's no damage, which eliminates the need for the pit crew, but even then, THERE'S NO PIT CREW IN 2-PLAYER! The 1-player mode (which seems too hard to beat because of little strategy involved) is the only place with this feature folks! And why is this fun anyway? Has anyone ever thought about that? Slot car racing sounds good at first, but what happens when acing a track involves just holding down the trigger? IT'S BORING! That's what this is. And why in the name of Great-Uncle Spencer would you go for 20 laps? WHY?

Why are you still reading? Oh yeah, you want to rent and see if it's challenging at all anyway? WELL IT IS! There's little to no way to do anything special! Okay, no reason to continue talking here.

Honestly, what do you think it'll be? REPLAYABLE? I LAUGH AT YOU! The only 5 second fun is 2-player, but like I said, 5 SECONDS!

No, I meant 1/10. I forgot to put that in, but the backspace button is too far away! WAAHHH! Anyway, stay away. This game is untouchable, and that's a good thing.
