"Dont come expetcing gta4"

People around are comparing this game to Gta3 because of rockstar. I have to tell you, you will probably be dissapointed if you are expecting gta4. This game is a good old fashioned beat em up like streets of rage but in 3d. If you like beat em up games then you wont care about repetitive like all games are.
I love beat em ups and have played the hell out of Dynasty Warriors 2 so much that I couldnt even play DW3. So I looked for something different with more of a violent tough.

Graphics:9/10
The graphics are cartoony in this game but it works real good. The charecters arent all that special only because this game puts 200+ people on the screen with no slowdown at all. Theres blood and guts everywhere and if you know rockstars games they earn there M rating. The environment is very interactive also you can pick up benches and use them as weopons and you can throw a grenade into a window to blow up the buildigns.

Story:5/10
The games story is nothing special. An evil corporation is not giving the citizens a break so you are one of 5 people (you need to unlock 3) fighting in a riot trying to stop them. They have there officers potrolling everywhere and attack anyone carrying a weopon.

Sound:7/10
The sound isnt to bad all the weopons has its own unique sounds when used. Explosions sound pretty good and theres tons of people around screaming. The bad thing is the annoying announcer saying how youve killed to many civilians in chaos mode.

Gameplay:9/10
The gameplay is great but repetitive like all of these games. There arent many hand to hand combos and there are only 2 throws a person but there are dozens of weopons to use. There are many types of guns like rocket launchers,grenade launchers, tazers, machine guns, and tons more. You can use them to blow up a car that the officers are by to kill them all fast or you can use them for whatever you want. If there are no weopons near by dont worry go pick up a trash can or a street cone or 10 other things on the ground. You can even use a persons severed heads and limbs to fight with. There are no shortage of weopons in this game but a shortage of hand to hand combat.

Overall
This game is a fun game if you like this genre. If you are not sure about this game but like rockstar rent it because there are many people dissapointed. Whatever you do dont come in expecting a game like gta or a beat em up thats gonna revolutionize everything. There are original ideas but its still a beat em up.

Buy/Rent
If your parents dont let you play violent games good luck getting it by them and finding a store that will sell to ya without checking. You should rent this game if your not sure because many dissapointments. Buy it if you arent expecting it to be completely new or gta.
