"A different but good game"

This a really original idea as far as I know for a game. You play a Boy Herdy who must go on a quest to save his father instead of running around and killing things to accomplish your goals, you have to heard different creatures into pens and stop a preditor from eating them under your nose. The games execution of this is great and its filled with little interactions with a multitude of characters. They also included a neat bonus for collecting all 100 bells on a level, which is a making of the game option under the main menu. Its pretty neat because you get to see some behind the scenes stuff and some things that where cut from the game it makes you want to try to unlock all of them.

Graphics: 9/10
The Cell shading used in the game is wonderful. Until I played this game I was very iffy on the use of scell shading. Its mixed with what looks to me like some prerendered backgrounds and those are done very well. There are a few graphice glitches like flowers floating in a few place but nothing to be really distracting or to ruin the whole environment.

Control: 8/10

The Control in this game is pretty good and standard from alot of third person games. This biggest problem I have is the camera, It doesnt always go where you really want it to be or where you need it to be. To do certian things it requires you to use the D-Pad. For this can be really bad if you want to open the Map while you are running away from something you have to basically stop running take your hand off the control stick hit the map key on the D-Pad sometimes twice if you want to see the whole map then start running again.

Sound: 9/10

The sound in this game is done really well there is alot of background fill like a full range of sounds you would hear outside, for example birds, tree's russeling, and verious animals. Also they gave you an option wich few games do now wich is a surrond sound option instead of just base stereo.

Difficulty: 7/10

The game is not that difficult once you get used to the game and camera controls. The most challanging parts come later when you have to work against predators eating your heards since the animals all just stand there and get eaten.

Overall: 8/10
