"Another Hit STAR WARS game for PS2!"

I've had this game for a few days and already beat it. This game is better then the ''OTHER'' star wars flying game. Although you only have a choice of 2 people, Nym and Gali, you have chances to earn new craft like X-Wing and Slave 1 and so on! It feels exactly (And looks like) the other star wars flying game. Controls and everything are the same. Just different(Technically Part 2) story.

STORY
Your Jedi ADI on a mission to help NYM. I don't want to really give away to much story for it is more fun to experience every event as it happens on the game! The story is kick-butt and draws you in! This game is based around Episode 2!

Graphics 7 out of 10:
The only real complaint is the graphics. Star Wars, wether it be a game or movie, always is very colorful. Almost cartoonish. This games feels like star wars but after the third or forth mission it doesn't feel realistic. The way the graphics are set up makes it awkward. The background, especially when in space, is horrid. It feels like your flying on a bad painting. The planet doesn't even look 3-D. It looks like a piece of paper. In the cut-scenes the characters were amazing although Mace Windu(Jedi) looked really weird!

Sometimes you'll even see glitches with the SKY-BOX (Background Barrier). There seems to be a lack of detail, when on planets fighting on land is real bland which is probably done so you could fly around more without a bad Frame-Rate. Speaking of Frames this game runs at 30-60 Frames. Although there were alot of jerks in it. OVERALL the graphics were sharp and detailed when it came to the moving objects! Still is about equal to its first one though. But not the best graphics I've seen.

Gameplay 8 out of 10:
The gameplay is noting overly exciting. Your in a ship through out the game. The gameplay can be fun at times facing massive ships while 100's of little ones chase you around! Overall the gameplay is nothing special.

Sound 9 out of 10:
The sound is great for a star wars game. The ships fighting, the lasers flying by, the explosions and so on all make it fit together. The cut scenes are very well dubbed. After awhile the sounds do get annoying especially if your in a dog fight with waves of ships for an hour!Overall the sound is very well done and gets my Star Wars approval!

Music 10+ out of 10
Yep 10+. I Looovvveeee star wars music. You cant have anything related to it without the music. When your playing the music gives a great ''Star Wars Rush''. No complaints!

Controls 9 out of 10:
Ok the controls are exactly the same as the first game. Although with unlocked ships the controls vary for each. Jango Fetts Slave 1 is considered the hardest ship to control. Even if you were a ace in the first one STILL take the training because there is new things you'll need to learn! To many new people the controls might be hard at first! The hardest thing about them isn't so much the controls as it is your ship, you get use to flying Adi for to long then switch to NYM and its like learning to fly again! OVERALL the controls are pretty easy!

Replay Value 8 out of 10:
As a SW fan I could play it forever but it could get boring after awhile. You'll spend alot of your time replaying certain levels to earn things like ships, gold medals and so on. Although with the 2-player feature the replay goes up!

Buy or rent:
Well I always say rent it first buy it later. But if you want an answer here you go. If you liked the first one get this. If you didn't like the first one don't get this. And if you haven't played the first one then rent this one and if you like it alot buy it!

Unlockables, 2 players and gold medals:
Ok when you start out you got some unlocked things already like 2 movies, one being a trailed for Racers Revenge and the other a teaser trailer for the game Bounty Hunters! You can unlock alot of stuff from ships to art work and some other surprises!

This game has a a cool 2 player option. Besides just playing against your friend you can do some missions as a COOP MISSION! Which makes it fun! Although I don't think the COOP missions count towards any unlockables!

Gold Medals. Ughhh! Gold Medals are hard to get. Trust me if you want the Slave 1 you have to get Gold Medals in ''EVERY'' single mission which is very hard to do!

Ships, Weapons and Charecters
Ok its star wars and with star wars comes massive amount of things!
Different people own different ships.
Different ships have different weapons.
Different weapons have different effects.

So on and so forth. My overall favorite ship is Slave 1 but your might be different. Nyms ship is more of a heavy slow moving fighter, he uses bombs and heavy laser. While ADI is a fast small fighter which uses medium lasers and force powers!

Lots of unlockables.
Big levels.
Music rocks.
Can you say ''Mass Destruction Baby!''.

Cons:
Ummm.....there isn't really any besides the graphics glitches!

OVERALL 8 out of 10:
Overall I wasn't expecting something totally new as in a more detailed and wild game! It was what i thought it would be! It is definitely worth it to get! Even though it had some minor flaws no game is perfect. I think any star wars fan or non-fans will enjoy this game! Now I'm waiting for Bounty Hunters!
