Review by Kuja105 Reborn

"Hey! A GOOD Star Wars game on the Playstation platform!"

Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter, the second in the Starfighter series, is absolutely brilliant. It's simply amazing, really. Over the years we've come to expect bad Star Wars games for the Playstation, but after last years Starfighter, and now Jedi Starfighter, it looks like the trend has changed.

Gameplay 10/10: Much like the first, you control several ships, including the prototype Jedi Starship(which can be seen in Attack of the Clones). You take part in many missions, both in space and on alien planets.

Controls work well and are not hard to pick up on, thankfully. I can't count the amount of times I've been stuck in a battle, not knowing what to do in other flight sims, but this game never left me like that. It's training courses early in the game help you easily learn the controls.

In addition to your primary lasers, your ships comes equipped with secondary weapons, which range from energy and regular missles, to different Force techniques. Also, you now have the ability to issue commands to your wing mate(and I guarantee that you WILL use it).

Graphics 9/10: This game is great to look at. The space scenes look extremely real(except for those stupid stars that were in the first one. Do they not know that stars aren't so small that you fly between them?)

It does, however, suffer from some frame rate problems. Late in the game you'll find some slowdown and a little choppiness, especially during an explosion. It's not too bad, though.

Sound/Music 10/10: The sound effects are standard, but not bad. Everything is crisp and clear. The music is great. This game uses a combination of movie and original music. The original music(or is it from Episode II...) really fits, and is great to listen to. It's some of the best non-RPG music I've ever heard in my life.

Story 9/10: Not much to it, but it's still pretty good. It offers a tasty little preview of key events of Episode II. You take control of Adi Gallia, last seen in Jedi Power Battles, and Nym, from the first Starfighter. They, along with others, set out to investigate, and take revenge on, the Trade Federation, but stumble across something big. A new weapon of mass destruction. All in all, it seems more thought out then the first one.

Replay 10/10: Besides just being fun to play again(and that's all you really need), there are a bunch of unlockables. A TIE fighter, an X-Wing, and Slave 1 can be flown, as well as several other unlockables, such as game previews.

Total: 10/10: It really is worth the money. It'll make you laugh, make you cry, or just make you want to blow a bunch of stuff up Either way, it's a good thing.
