"A big break for baseball"

This was a fun game. It wasn’t to hard and it wasn’t to easy. They had a nice set of controls and they had good commentary and graphics to make up for the re playability.

GAME PLAY I think this was a really fun game. It wasn’t too hard and it wasn’t too easy. The controls were a little shaky but everything else was great. Home runs were a little too easy to hit. Also the batter swings a little late just a little minor defect. The game play was about the 2 best part of the game. The one really cool thing that I liked is the power meter. This thing is so cool and helps along with game plan. The gameplay was thought out really well on batting and in the field. Best baseball game I’ve ever played.

STORY well it’s a baseball game. You play teams until you finally make it into the playoffs. Then you test your luck trying to win the World Series. Hey what do you know it could be another subway series if you like the Mets or the Yankees? The story was basically like a regular base ball game no big surprise.

AUDIO/VIDEO oh this took me by surprise. The graphics were GREAT! The crowd was actually 3 dimensional too, which surprised me. The cut scenes were good. When he is on deck he looks so life like and sways just like a real person would. They were really life like. They did a great job on the cut scenes when you hit a home run or a grand slam. It would show the ball in 3 dimensional going through the air then it shows it falling to the ball falling back down to the stands. The commentary was ok same thing where if it’s going to be a home run they’ll say something before it happens then you’ll know.

RE PLAYABILITY this was a solid game. I played it about 3 times before I got sick of it but then like 4 months later it started to play it again. This game is pretty addicting. But I know of no one that went for the quest to beat the game with all the teams without quitting for like a couple of weeks. Hey maybe you could try it. The only problem is if you do real well it takes like forever for the game to end. Because of the amount of innings but you can always shorten that.

TO BUY OR RENT definitely buy this game. It is the best game I’ve ever seen and I can’t wait to see all-star Baseball 2003. This game is definitely worth the $50.00 that you have to pay. But if you’ve never played it and aren’t a baseball fan then you might want to try renting it first. But this game is definitely not a disappointment whether you buy or rent it. This game is a ton better then previous games because of the graphic design and texture in the faces of the people. This game is like no other game.
