Mobile Suit Gundam: Zeonic Front

"Great Game"

This game is great. The game lasted well a week or so before i beaten the game, but it was challenging. This games downfall is it's graphics. You really can see the graphic glitches when you watch the short movie after each mission. The colors mix with each other and it's very blurry. Besides from that part the in game graphics are pretty good. I hope graphics are improve in Gundam Lost War Chronicles that would come to the PS2 shortly this year.

Zeonic Front has a great story line despise there other setbacks. For gundam fans this game would be a sure winner. THe game brings you straight into the one year war. At time's in missions theres little message's that goes through that follows the television series, such as one scene where the black tri stars were destroyed by the gundam. The game also has a story line of it's own which didn't show up during the television series such as a new gundam. This game if see the mobile suites and some simulator missions is a cross between the original gundam series and the 8th ms team series. For example there's a mission that you attack the Gundam, Guncannon, and guntank with Ramba Ral, and there's a scene which you have to destroy a bunch of Guntanks spread out in a city guarded by Mass produced Gundam types and GM's. The other neat thing of this game was the intro and the movies they have stored for you. If you didn't know much about gundam or this series theres a special movie that gives a brief summary of the televion series and whats your position in the war. The intro shows a very realistic movie (I wish the in game graphics were that good) of mixed up scenes of Zeon Mobile suites in war with the Federation. The intro's pretty long but it was incredibly well made.

The game also carries a lot of things to unlock such as new characters,support equipment, new mobile suits and more missions. For characters as a example you can unlock char aznable. For Equipment you can recieve cloaks and armor. Mobile suits can be upgrade as you progress, like from a Zaku 2 to a Gouf. You can also unlock new missions such as some you can play as the federation and you can use there suits such as the Gundams.

If you are going to buy this game be prepared for a hard thinking strategy game and average graphics. Hopefully your enjoy it like i did, if not well buy the gundam games that are coming in June, it should have better graphics.
