Way of the Samurai
Review by Neon Raven
"I LOVE this game, and wanna let you all know."
Way of the Samurai: is one of the best PlayStation 2 games I have played to date. If you like games like Onimusha, Kengo or other Samurai games I think your really gunna like this game. Its fun, Fast paced, and gives you great freedom to do as you like for the major part of the game.
So here you go, what I think about ''Way of the Samurai''.
Graphics (9/10)
The Graphics in this game are very good not choppy or anything. There are a few flaws in a few spots of the game, but nothing to make you not like the game.
Sound (10/10)
Way of the Samurai has some cool Music, and some really good sound effects. All in all as good as the best games on PS2.
Story (6/10)
The storyline in the game is kinda hard to follow. You will need to beat the game at least twice to get the storyline all the way, and then there may be some holes in it.
Replayability (10/10)
This game is centered around replay. You have to replay the game to get full enjoyment out of it. But not to worry, the game changes depending on your actions during the game, so replaying is more than fun.
Ok so now you know how I fell, let me give you some insight into the gameplay of the game. Way of the Samurai is a fast placed game that allows you to make choices as you go along unlike any other game I have ever played. You can chose to be a nice guy and help people that you come across, or you can go along and do your own thing not help anyone, not hurt anyone. You can also go out and be mean to everyone you see and attack almost everyone you see. You can join in with a few different groups or just do your own thing.
Then after you have finished the game a few times you can play in a 2 player mode or against the computer. You can collect up to about 60 different swords, as well as make each sword stronger by gaining more power, or defence, and learn more moves with each sword.
In my eyes ''Way of the Samurai'' is a MUST buy game for any fan of Onimusha, or Kengo. If you like fast paced game play, some good old hack and slash game play then go out and get this game NOW
