"Real Life Baseball Game at its BEST"

This is the best baseball game I have played since the Sega Genesis Years. I love it, I still wish MLB 2003 would of came out for the PS2 but High Heat BBaseball 2003 would be a great collection to all baseball fans. This game has good gameplay, great sound, not too bad graphics, great loading time, and nice difficulty. This is the best I have seen 3Do make.

Graphics: 7.5

The graphics hardly matter to me. The batting stances are great. The run as if there hustling. They make it seem so real, it feels like your on the field. More errors, lots of ground outs, little home runs(only if you bring simulation up a little). Great stadiums, umpire are realistic. The game is great.

Sound: 9

Great commentary. They make it seem real. I was playing with Ken Griffey Jr. and I singled and the commentator said ''That is his 2,000 career hit''. I like the commentator, they talk when its time to talk instead of blabbling about one player at a time(Vin Scully and dave Campbell on MLB PSX series). They seem to pay attention to the game and that is very good when you are actually into the game.

Gameplay: 10

In my opinion, the gameplay rules. It is so real, the AI rules. I usually put Simulation on 7 so every strike you through to a power hitter isn't a home run. The gameplay is great. You can go into extra innings and play as if the game was so real life. Warming pitchers up, check swinging, variable umpires, crowd intereaction is great, fighting, agruing, getting ejected, on deck circles, and more. This game is great.

Loading Time and Replay Value: 7

Great loading time. After the game is over, press X and your at the End Game screen. Great loading time. Now replay, if you turn that on many, mostly every groundout, popout, lineout, and strikeouts will be replay which sometimes get boring.

Difficulty: 8

This game is really difficult.

Rookie- Normal, a little easy.

Pro(I play on this)- Mostly hard

All-Star- HARD

MVP- VERY HARD

Hall of Fame- SLAM JOYSTICK HARD

Rent or Buy- I say you buy this and if your not getting used to it after the first tries, bring it back, or rent it. You decide but I prefer buying it because this game is great for your pleasure.

I'd give it an 8 out of 10. Good luck playing this great game. Oh and this is my first ever review so don't flame.
